Diplomatic Bazaar
IWCM Bazaar in Podgorica, Montenegro

Traditionally, international community of Montenegro, embassies and international organizations, create a magical New Year atmosphere for one day at Big Fashion Center organizing Diplomatic Bazaar. With a program of music and dance events, craft and culinary tradition demonstrations, and presentations of traditional items. IWCM offers the public the option to discover presents from more than 30 countries, and the funds raised from the sale of traditional products from the participating countries and from sponsorships are redirected in projects supporting women and kids in difficult situations.

It is a traditional charity event organized by the International women’s club of Montenegro with generous support by the embassy’s and warm&welcoming Montenegrin community.

The International Women’s Club of Montenegro met informally for many years to serve as a means for local and foreign women to meet socially and to share resources. In 2009, a group of women from Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Germany and the USA took steps to register the IWCM as a Non-governmental Organization (NGO). Since then, a Management Board and volunteer members have been organizing the club’s activities.
